Kensington Palace released photos of Prince George on his first day of school earlier this month, leaving parents across the globe asking one question: where are his school shoes from.

Searching for a decent pair of shoes that will see your kids through the school year is a huge mission. It’s one of the main things parents dread when the new term rolls around every September.

When the photos of George were released, everyone wanted to know where they could buy the shoes.

The Prince's school, St Thomas' Battersea, states that pupils must wear “black leather, polishable, laceless shoes”. It is believed that George’s shoes are from a brand called Pisamonas, which is a Spanish company.

Parents will be thrilled to discover that the shoes are affordable; they cost £38.95 (€45) and you can buy them on the Pisamonas website.

The website states that the shoes are of premium quality and are extremely comfortable. The website also states, “The shoes have flexible leather insoles for a more comfortable wear, and anti-slip rubber soles for a better grip on the floor, but still really flexible to cushion the step correctly.”

The shoes are described as classic and elegant on the store's website, making them the perfect shoes for school.

It comes as no surprise to hear that the online store's stock is understandably quite low at the moment.

All Pisamonas products are designed and made in Spain. The company delivers across Europe and to the United States.

Like many other schools, Thomas’ Battersea has a very strict uniform policy. The school supplies parents with a list of compulsory items which can be purchased in John Lewis.

It costs approximately £20,000 per year for the young Prince to attend Thomas’ Battersea primary school.

It is understood that the school only has 560 students, meaning it is extremely difficult to get a place there.

George started his new chapter at Thomas’ Battersea primary school on September 7. He was accompanied by his father, Prince William. Unfortunately, his mum was unable to attend, due to suffering from Hyperemesis gravidarum.

Kensington Palace recently announced that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting her third child with William.
