Do you know how many children in Ireland are diagnosed with cancer every year? The Children’s Medical and Research Foundation at Our Lady’s Children Hospital, Crumlin want to know if you have the answer and have launched “The Big Question”, a fundraising campaign taking place across Ireland. The campaign is encouraging families, friends, companies, organisations, teams and groups all over Ireland to come together on Thursday November 22nd and host a table quiz in aid of The CMRF. “The Big Question” is proudly supported by Newstalk 106.

There are children fighting aggressive forms of cancer every day in Crumlin, and while a lot of hard work goes into caring for these children, the facilities drastically need to improve.

To combat this urgent need, The Children’s Medical Research Foundation at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin are asking people around the country to host a quiz at home, at work or in their local area to raise funds. Quizmasters are being asked to register their teams online to receive their own fundraiser pack, which outlines all the details on how teams can help raise money for the hospital.

The Big Question is part of the ‘Fix Crumlin’ campaign. This is a fundraising initiative to improve and upgrade the old and cramped wards currently being used to treat sick children in the hospital. To download your own table quiz pack, visit www.thebigquestion.ie or go to the Facebook page  http://www.facebook.com/CMRFCRUMLIN for more details.
