Science Week is taking place from the 11th – 18th of November, and children will have the chance to learn more about science through fun activities. The theme of this years’ Science Week is ‘Everyday Experimenting’.

The award-winning comedy duo, the Rubberbandits and Sarah Kelly, who recently completed her PhD at The School of Health and Human Performance at DCU, launched Science Week 2012, ‘Everyday Experimenting’, which will be taking place nationwide. This year the aim is to demonstrate that you are part fo science and that you are constantly experimenting. From attempting a new level on a game, to trying out a new recipe or embarking on a new hobby – these are all everyday experiements.

Science Week is collaborating with schools, libraries, teachers and students to put together events across Ireland. DSE will co-ordinate these events through the website www.scienceweek.ie where information on all Science Week activities is available.
