To celebrate the launch of their new 2015 catalogue, IKEA Dublin will be hosting a full weekend of activities to promote well-being on the weekend of the 13th and 14th of September.

The activities, which are suitable for the whole family, include interactive workshops, crafting and customisation and sewing tips, as well as handy advice on how small changes can make a big difference.

In anticipation of the event Gillian Reilly, the Communication & Interior Design Manager of IKEA Dublin explains that “as hectic lifestyles take over, it is important to take time out and look after your well-being.”

One of the best ways to maintain your well-being is with relaxation and good night sleep.

Gillian lists her top tips for having a peaceful rest, recommending a warm bath before bed and completely dark room to regulate you sleep cycles.

Being too hot or too cold is also a surefire way to disturbed sleep Gillian states.

“Between 18 and 22 degrees is perfect for a night’s sleep. That’s why changing your duvet with the seasons will help you sleep better and wake up feeling refreshed.”

The activities will run from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th, and there will be nibbles and light refreshments served throughout the day.

Customers will also get a sneak peek at the new IKEA products and ranges, and be in with a chance of winning a €2,000 home makeover.
