Stacey Solomon has never shied away from expressing her honest opinions. The mum has bravely shared her views on everything from marriage to photoshop.
The Loose Women panellist has revealed a rather controversial move she made last September. The mum-of-two has shared that she took her sons out of public school last year and is now homeschooling her boys.
The mum understands that not everyone will agree with her choice, but she knows it was the right one to make.
“Yes, it's controversial and not everyone will agree with me but parents have to make their own decisions, she told The Sun.
She said nobody has the right to judge parents, every decision is unique to each family, “You shouldn’t feel judged.”
Stacey’s sons- ten-year-old Zachary and five-year-old Leighton- have been enjoying the learning experience a lot more than they were at school. She revealed that her eldest son went from a chirpy child to “quiet and sad” when he was in school.
"We spoke about this a lot and he explained to me that his behaviour was deemed naughty and disruptive by teachers and not cool by his peers," she explained.
She knew the school was having a negative impact on her children so homeschooling was the perfect option for the family. It’s been something the mum has wanted to do for years.
The former X Factor star admitted that her boys have flourished since she started homeschooling them, with the boys learning about everything from politics to nutrition.
We adore Stacey’s honesty. What do you think of her decision to homeschool her sons?
