Tracking Santa on Christmas Eve has become a huge tradition in homes all over the country, as kids wait impatiently for him to arrive at their house.

This year though, as they wait for him to come down the chimney, they can learn how to code, thanks to Google’s Santa Tracker, which includes a web app and an Android app.

The tracker, which lets you learn basic coding via a tap-and-drag, reindeer-themed interface, has already started, and this year there are 25-day experiences.

Starting off is a colouring book about giving which includes information about popular charities that help people around the world each year.

With special illustrations and fun games, kids will also be able to track different Christmas traditions around the world.

But you can also track the man in red via The Norad tracker – created by the US Department of Defense to follow Father Christmas’ journey.

While the Norad tracking doesn’t start until December 24th , it currently has a countdown and other information.
