The close-knit community of Clayton in Bradford, England was still in shock last night after the discovery of the bodies of the Lad family at their home on Monday evening.

Jitendra and Duksha Lad were found dead alongside their daughters, 19-year-old Trisha and 17-year-old Nisha. Detectives were called to the house around 8.30pm on Monday evening by a concerned neighbour who had not seen the family in "some time." The tragic discovery was made shortly afterwards.

Police say they do not believe anyone else was involved in the deaths. It's believed Jitendra Lad may have murdered his wife and daughters before killing himself.

Visibly upset neighbours and friends stopped by the house to leave sympathy cards and flowers throughout the afternoon yesterday. Residents in the Clayton area said the Lads were a "lovely, close-knit family."

Trisha was studying at Leeds University and Nisha attended the local grammar school. Friends described the girls as "bubbly" and "genuine."

Local shop manager Niraj Patel said he had always considered Mr. Lad a "happy, easy-going chap, always a smile on his face."

Police last night reassured residents in the area that no other suspects were being considered. "The investigation is at an early stage, and while I do not want to speculate around the circumstances leading to the deaths, I am happy to confirm that we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident."
