It’s already back-to-school time and if you’re anything like us, you’re scrambling to get everything ready for the first day of the new term - books organised, uniforms bought and lunchboxes labelled for the inevitable day that they will go missing.
As well as lunchboxes and stationary going walkabouts, we’re preparing for the evenings of helping with homework, the endless washing of PE kits and the day our little ones come home scratching their heads with lice, which let’s be honest, is going to come sooner or later, and is quite tedious more than anything. But now it doesn’t have to be!
Instead of feeling dread and slight embarrassment build up in you when your child comes home with head lice, you can be prepared by having precautionary treatments to use before the issue even arises, and fast-acting treatments to get rid of any lice that have made their home on your child's scalp.

Symptoms
Keep an eye on your little one if they come home from school scratching their head or saying that they feel like something is moving on their scalp. Lice can be hard to spot in your child’s hair unless you’re really looking for them, so using a nit comb can be useful to help look for them and to remove any if necessary.

Using a reliable treatment is the best way to ensure that you get all of the nits out of your child's hair, as well as any eggs they may have laid there too. Once the treatment dries, it remains on the child’s hair so they can carry on with their day, playing, learning in the classroom or even sleeping. This is a water-based treatment which rinses out of the hair easily, without leaving any greasy residue behind.
With this treatment, you’ll need two applications (eight hours or overnight), seven days apart. You can get Hedrin Treat & Go in a mousse and a spray to suit you.
