Asian noodle soup

This is an ideal recipe if you are fighting a cold or just want some comfort food on a cold, wet day.
Asian noodles of choice, 1 packet
½ vegetable stock cube or pot
1-2 tbsp soya sauce
1 tbsp fish sauce
2 scallions finely sliced (use the green tops also)
½ tsp fresh ginger, peeled and sliced very finely
Pinch of 5 Spice or to taste
Scallion to garnish (optional_
Bring a medium saucepan of water to the boil, add in all the ingredients and gently cook until the noodles are soft (you can use a knife or fork to ensure they cut through easily).
Serve hot and garnish with scallion if using.
