Banana and walnut bread

Delicious and moist, this banana bread will leave you wanting more.
300g self-raising flour, sifted
70g brown sugar
200g walnuts, chopped
2 tsp baking powder
2 eggs, beaten
250ml milk
2 large bananas, mashed
Preheat oven to 180°C/ 350°F/ Gas Mark 4. Lightly grease a 20 x 10cm loaf pan.
In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, walnuts and baking powder.
Beat your two eggs together in a jug.
Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and pour in the egg and milk. Gently fold together before adding your bananas.
Spoon the mixture into the loaf pan and place in the oven for 50 minutes or until golden. To test it is cooked, insert a clean knife in the centre and if it comes out clean it is cooked.
Leave to cool on a wire rack before serving.
