A child between the ages of five and eight, will experience many milestones and develop considerably.

Your child will develop new interests and hobbies which can be a great source of self-learning. Your child is more likely to read about a certain subject if he develops an interest in it himself.

Your child’s social skills will also develop. By the age of eight or nine your child will likely have developed one or two close friendships.

Your child will also be developing their independence. Playing together is a great way to retain a close bond and to keep the lines of communication open. Kick a football or go for a bike ride together as often as you can.
