Bus driver Lycia Martinez was arrested for driving under the influence after panicked parents and commuters called police on her terrifying driving.

On a school trip with a bus full of over 70 children, parents, and teachers, Lycia began swerving between lanes and narrowly avoiding hitting other cars.

One parent on the bus was recording telling police dispatchers, “She can't stay in the lanes, she's crossing the double lines, and the adults are getting scared.”

“Oh my hell. ... I don't get scared very easily, but my heart is pounding.”

When police arrived and had the bus pull over, they found four different prescription medications, including muscle relaxants, anti-anxiety and pain killers.

Thankfully no one was hurt, and Lycia has been placed on administrative leave while the case in investigated.

Spokesman for the school district in Utah, Chris Williams, stated that they will reassess their policies to find ways to prevent this happening again.

"Talk about precious cargo," Chris said. "We are very fortunate nothing happened, not only with the students on the bus but with other drivers on the road."
