A twelve-year-old boy from Bagnols, France had been on his way to the dentist when he was snatched off the street by a mysterious man. Luckily enough, he managed to escape after the man drove to Saint-Gervais, near the Alps.
The little boy gave a statement to police and described the man as European, muscular and slightly shorter than average, wearing a black shirt and light jeans. The police made every effort to find the boys kidnapper but to no avail. They went back to watch the CCTV footage from the area the boy had said he’d been snatched from, but could find no evidence of anything the boy had reported.
The reason? The little boy had made up the whole story to avoid going to the dentist. He admitted everything after some intense questioning.
He won’t be punished for wasting police time, but he will be rescheduling his appointment with the dentist.
