A man in his 20s has been arrested following a horrific petrol bomb attack in Waterford city that has left two children in hospital.

A family were in their sitting room at 9pm last night, when a bomb was thrown through their window, seriously injuring a one-year-old baby girl and her 11-year-old sister.
