We know how picky children can be when it comes to food, so when this four-year-old was given the opportunity to review a high couture restaurant, you know it’s going to be interesting.

Elai Rubinsky along with her adult companions attended the fancy Plum Restaurant in Oakland, USA.

According to one adult review of the Plum Restaurant “is the kind of restaurant where every dish is an explorative twist on ingredients you thought you knew, the kind of place that pickles green strawberries and ferments oatmeal".

But it seems Elai doesn’t agree with that assessment and here is what she thought of a few of their signature dishes:

·         Amuse-Bouche: "No, it's not good."
·         Prawns: "I'd try a red tomato, but these aren't RED!"
·         Cranberry Ginger Mocktail: "Cold, cold, cold, cold. I can't drink it. It's too cold."
·         Roasted and Raw Beet Salad: "Oh no, that's paint! I can't eat paint… It tastes like chicken nuggets. I usually like chicken nuggets, but not THESE chicken nuggets."
·         Squid: "I didn't do a good job tasting that."
·         Roasted chicken: (crying)"I think I don't like chicken

Overall Elai thought the restaurant was “too fancy” while her adult companions thought the dishes had "delicious flavours, seasonal ingredients, and plates so pretty they look like paintings".
