One very famous actor is set to appear on CBeebies Bedtime Stories this week.

Christopher Robin star Ewan McGregor will star in the popular kids show on Friday.

The dad-of-four will read Everybody’s Welcome by Patricia Hegarty during his appearance on the show.

Everybody’s Welcome by Patricia Hegarty follows the story of a mouse who wants to build a house so everyone can work together and feel happy and safe.

Speaking of his role on the show, the Moulin Rouge star said: “It’s such an honour and pleasure to join an incredible list of actors to read a CBeebies Bedtime Story to children all over the UK.”

“I had a great time filming and I hope everyone enjoys watching it,” he added.

Ewan’s latest movie Christopher Robin has received rave reviews since it’s release earlier this month. The beloved Disney tale has been a hit at the box office.

Ewan McGregor stars as the grown-up Christopher Robin, who struggles with spending time with his family due to his demanding job.

His friends from Hundred Acre Wood come to the rescue during his time of need. It’s safe to say families will be thrilled to see the actor on the popular show.

He is following in the footsteps of many famous faces including Captain America star Chris Evans, Baywatch actor David Hasselhoff, Doctor Foster actress Suranne Jones, English actor Sir Derek Jacobi, and singer Dolly Parton.

CBeebies Bedtime Stories is on daily at 6:50pm.
