Jeremy Triantalfio has reached international fame, thanks to the extraordinary actions of his pet cat.
Jeremy’s father decided to share CCTV footage of the moment of when their family cat, Tara saved Jeremy from a vicious dog attack.
Since the video was published on YouTube, it has reached over seven million hits and Jeremy along with his parents have given plenty of interviews on their cat’s brave actions.
Jeremy’s mother, Erica said her four-year-old’s attack is a blur but she is glad her little boy is doing ok.
“I just remember hearing him, and the next thing I know, I see my cat flying out of nowhere, onto this dog, and just remember trying to get my son and get the dog away and back in its yard, away from both of us that it was trying to attack."
The dog has since been put in the custody of animal officers and his fate has yet to be determined.
Jeremy had to receive ten stitches but is said to be doing ok thank to his pet, Tara.
"He tells us it feels better. He's just ready to get out there and run around and play with the other kids again."
