​Gardaí are appealing for information following a robbery which took place in Booterstown, Co Dublin on Saturday December 20th 2014.

The burglary occurred at a family home in Fosterbrook and is said to have taken place between noon and 4pm the next day.

Among the stolen items was an urn containing the ashes of the parent's son who passed away aged 29 months.

The urn is described as a three inch by three inch box with a stainless steel lid.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who has information regarding the robbery or may know the location of the urn to contact Donnybrook Garda station.
