Get Smart Media provides innovative film and media workshops to deliver 21st century education to 21st century kids.

Through film production and analysis, children not only learn important literacy and cross-circular skills, they also develop a passion for learning while gaining access to some exciting new tools.

Get Smart supports schools in maximising the potential of technology in the classroom as well as supporting digital learning in Ireland through lectures and workshops.

Newly established in Ireland, it has received such an enthusiastic response from schools already that they have begun their first support programs, two months ahead of schedule.

They have gone beyond political sound-bites and created some exciting projects with the first round of Irish schools eager to take on the future of education.

The company will be doing a range of projects including programming and robotics; and filmmaking based on the 1916 centenary over a seven week period, culminating with a showcase at Christmas.

Founder Gavin Molloy's experience has shown him what is possible when teaching with technology - the results, from three year olds up, never cease to amaze him.

Technology can remove barriers and open avenues to learning in ways that were previously just not possible - driving students to excel and enjoy their learning journey.
