There is heartbreaking news this afternoon, as it has been revealed that 11 children have been stabbed in a nursery school in Southern China.

Five of the victims are reported to be seriously injured, after the suspect "sneaked into" Xiaocongzai Kindergarten.

The attacker reportedly told staff he was collecting his own child in order to gain access, according to Global News, who also state his own child was in the classroom at the time.

Thankfully, a statement from the Pingxiang City government's information office says that no child has life-threatening injuries.
