Glenn and Cara O’Neil started a campaign two months ago in a bid to raise money for a clinical trial that could cure their daughter, Eliza, who was diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome last year.

Thanks to their viral public campaign and several events, they have successfully raised $1 million for their daughter.

But despite the overwhelming support that the couple has received for their daughter, they are only half way there. The clinical trial costs a total $2 million and if enough funds are raised, could take place this December at the Nationwide Children's Hospital in Ohio.

The couple have now produced another video documenting their journey so far and asking for help in reaching their final goal for Eliza on their GoFundMe page.

The clip ends with the message, "Eliza needs you”.

Eliza’s father, Glenn is hopeful that this clinical trial will help save his daughter’s life: "This is a story of hope, inspiration, determination, and ultimate triumph,"
