18 months ago, James Corden and his family moved to LA after he got his very own hosting gig: The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Talking about his move to America, the 37-year-old admitted that he finds it strange when he hears his five-year-old son, Max, speaking with an American accent.

Adding that the youngster switches between this and his English accent depending on who he is around, the former Gavin and Stacey star said he does it “to fit in”, explaining how he speaks differently to his friends and his parents.

“My son's five and my daughter's 16 months and my son is becoming rapidly more and more American,” he explained to Kelly and Joel McHale on Live with Kelly recently.

The father-of-two, who married Julia Carey in 2012, has gone from strength to strength over in the States, especially his Carpool Karaoke segment, which has seen the likes of Chris Martin, Mariah Carey and Adele sing alongside the presenter while he drives a car.

With the star admitting to the hosts that he thinks LA is “a great place to have young children,” it doesn't look like James will be heading back to Britain anytime soon.
