Halloween is all about getting dressed up, having a little scare, going trick-or-treating and having lots of fun.
However, one mum in the US has come under serious fire after a Halloween prank she played on her son was branded “cruel” and “heartless” by YouTube users.
The video, which has now been removed, sees the mum wearing a surgical mask while taking her son’s temperature before saying, “Look at his temperature!” to which the child’s dad exclaims: “Oh hell no! He got Ebola!”
The little boy bursts into tears at his fake diagnosis while his little brother runs away from him, no doubt frightened at the news.
The parents have since come under some criticism with many saying the prank went too far.
Not everyone was offended by the prank, however, with many people saying it was just a harmless joke.
