Sue Radford, the mum of Britain’s biggest family, has announced she is expecting her 17th child.

Sue, 37, and husband Noel, 41, are already parents to Chris, 24, Sophie, 19, Chloe, 18, Jack, 16, Daniel, 14, Luke, 12, Millie, 12, Katie, 10, James, nine, Ellie, eight, Aimee, seven, Josh, five, Max, four, Tillie, three, and Oscar two.

Revealing the news on Twitter, Sue wrote: “I’ve been carrying a little secret who’s cooking.

“We are so thrilled to announce the wonderful news that we will be welcoming a new little edition to our family baby number 17 is due in November and we couldn’t be happier.”

Despite being parents to 16 children already, Sue and Noel say they refuse to claim benefits.

They live in a former children’s home and support themselves with Noel’s bakery.

Sadly, Sue lost what would have been the family’s 17th addition last year.

Posting on Twitter at the time, she said: “It’s with such sadness that we have to say our beautiful baby’s heartbeat stopped 2 days we are utterly devastated beyond words.”

Sue and Noel had their first baby when Sue was only 14 but, having both been adopted, they were determined to keep him.

Speaking of her new pregnancy, Sue said, “It doesn’t matter how many scans you have or how many children you have seeing a new little miracle always blows your mind we are so in love with this little one already.”
