Parents of an 11-month-old baby in India are facing child abuse charges after shocking footage emerged of their baby being strapped into a paraglide by herself.
The footage was shot in Kerala, India and shows the terrifying moment the baby, who is visibly upset and crying, is strapped into the paraglide and then sent up into the air.
The paraglide is flown into the air, brought around the beach and then taken down a few moments later.
According to reports, the baby’s mum is an avid paraglider with lots of experience and a desire for her daughter to follow in her footsteps.
The Times of India have said that the stunt was pulled by an adventure and tourism group.
The parents and spectators are now being interviewed and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
