Six-year-old Tiana teaches us all a very important lesson on the importance of friendship, and has reduced us to tears in the process.

We all know the affect divorce can have on children, and after this little girl’s mum and dad had an argument in front of her she felt like she needed to say something.

Explaining how it all came about, Tiana’s mum, Cherish Sherry, who posted the video to Facebook, said: "My shoe rack had fallen down in the garage and Alfred came out yelling to me that my shoe rack sucked. I told him to just move out of the way if he doesn't want to help then go away."

Not surprisingly, the video has been viewed an impressive eight million times, and Cherish admits that she didn’t know her daughter could be capable of such reasoning.

In the three minute clip, the little girl can be seen pleading with her mum to be friends with her dad, saying: "Just try your best, I don't want you and my dad to be replaced. I want you and my dad to be settled and be friends. I'm not trying to be mean I just want everyone to be friends".

This will be three minutes of your time well spent!
