Two-year-old Libby Bonnice has a pretty unusual best friend – a three-month-old mini pig called Pearl, and her mother, photographer Lindsey Bonnice, has been documenting the absolutely adorable friendship for the past couple of months.

When it comes to choosing a family pet, most of us think of a dog or a cat as being the perfect companion. And while we just can’t get enough of this super cute pair, little Pearl may be tiny now but she will grow to weigh anywhere between 40 and 100 lbs, so we don’t think we’ll be investing in one for our kids.

Unfortunately, many pig breeders falsely claim that they won’t grow bigger than 20 lbs and when they become too big for the home, many families have to get rid of it.

We actually can't stop watching this adorable pair!

This might be the cutest thing I've ever seen! #youvebeenwarned #minipig #teacuppig
