Can I make something fun for my child using cardboard tubes?

Let your toddler’s imagination run wild as you play this fun game in which cardboard tubes become binoculars.

Find two empty towel roll tubes or toilet roll tubes. Have your child help you construct the binoculars.

You can start by attaching the tubes together, side by side. Use tape or glue.

Now, decorate the tubes with paint, markers, crayons, and even stickers.

Use a string to make a strap on the binoculars. Attach the string to the outer edge of one tube and the outer edge of the opposite tube. (Note that string can be dangerous to a toddler. When your child plays with these binoculars you must watch them and remove the toy when they are finished.)

Once the binoculars are complete, you can use them to explore the wild jungle that is in your backyard.

Your toddler will have so much fun spotting make believe animals with his binoculars.
