Glenn and Cara O'Neill have created a campaign to help their four-year-old who was diagnosed with Sanflippo Syndrome a year ago.
 
Her parents say that their daughter, Eliza will soon lose her ability to speak and walk as a result of the disorder.  
 
Sanflippo Syndrome prevents the body from being unable to properly break down long chains of sugar molecules called glycosaminoglycans and will cause Eliza to eventually lose many of her body functions.
 
Her parents are hopeful though that their daughter could be eligible for a gene therapy trial at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Ohio but the treatment will cost $2.5 million.
 
But her parents have already began campaigning to raise funds for Eliza’s treatment including the moving video below.
