The youngster was initially airlifted to University Hospital Waterford, but his injuries were deemed so severe he had to be taken to Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
Details of the tragic incident have yet to be revealed but we will keep you posted on the youngster’s condition.
Sadly, this is not the first time a child has fallen from a great height - a 15-month-old miraculously survived an 11-storey fall in America.
