Hedgehog bread

A delicious appetizer to get the party started!

One round loaf of sourdough bread

300g white mature cheddar, sliced

3 smoked rashers, cooked and chopped

3 tbsp raisins

3 tbsp hazelnut, chopped

3 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp parsley, chopped

Cut the bread into slices but only 90% down. You want the bread to remain together.
Stuff the bread with cheese, bacon, raisin and hazelnut. Brush with the oil.
Wrap the bread in tin foil and bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 180°C, then remove the foil and bake for a further 10 minutes, until golden.
