Adoption and Guardians

We are expecting twins later this year which we wish to give for adoption. However current Irish law does not allow the babies to be adopted – the law currently allows mainly babies from unmarried single ladies to be given for adoption. This is different from under countries in Europe and worldwide including the UK where children from couples can be given for adoption. The law is currently being reviewed in Ireland and is expected to be changed soon. We wish to give the babies to prospective parents in the Republic. We have been told that the only option is to find guardians and then later after the laws are changed or after 5 years have passed they can apply for adoption. We have also been told that we need to find the guardians ourselves.
We would appreciate any suggestions on how to find guardians. We are looking for a couple that want to adopt but are happy to accept the role of legal guardian until adoption is possible.
