Baby names

Jessica Simpson and fiance Eric Johnson finally welcomed their beautiful baby girl to the world yesterday, and a very healthy size too, weighing in at almost 10lbs. Ouch.

 

The name is a new one on me ... they went with Maxwell Drew. Drew is Jessica's mum's maiden name, and Maxwell comes from the Johnson side of the family (some reporting that it is Eric's middle name). It's certainly nothing mainstream (well not for a baby girl anyway) and it has created a stir. Regardless, I'm sure their lovely girl will grow into it.

 

We chose Emily Rose for our little one, no family connections, just a sweet girlie name. And we love it.
