Hi,
I am hoping to become a foster parent in the next few years and I am looking for a few answers before I do so.
I am living in the countryside and I am wondering if this would affect the number of placements I would receive? Would I receive more in the city and only few in the countryside?
I am hoping to foster 0-2 year olds and I am also wondering are there many children of this age group in need of a placement?
I am open to fostering both girls and boys, however, I have heard that there are a lot more boys in the foster care system than girls, is this true?
I would really appreciate any help given as I am very curious about fostering and really want to do it!
Thanks.
