Bill Clinton reunited with the Ugandan boy he held in 1998

Former US President Bill Clinton has been reunited with the Ugandan boy he held in his arms 16 years ago.

 

While visiting the country during his presidency in 1998, he met the baby boy who had been named after him due to the fact he was born in the same month that the US president visited Uganda.

 

Master Bill Clinton Kaligani is now a teenager studying to become a doctor and was really excited to meet the former president again.

 

He was flown to Entebbe to have lunch with Clinton; although he had to miss an exam to make the date.

 

‘I feel good,” said Bill Clinton Kaligani. “He told me he also wanted me to be a doctor, that I should work hard and pass in my studies.”
