Lidl Full Shop - The Bazyluk Family - Week 2

Off I went a little later than normal on a sunny Saturday morning for my second weekly shop! I decided to go to a different Lidl and choose the one in Nutgrove. This store was definitely busier than the Stillorgan one and by the time I arrived (around 11am) a lot of the bakery goods were sold out. However, I was again impressed by the huge range and the quality of the fruit and veg.  I carried out my weekly shop getting almost everything I needed (and some I didn’t “need”) with the exception again of my usual yoghurt drink and my regular shampoo.

 

I once again treated the family to some fabulous steaks which they enjoyed but my purchase of the week has to be the Inisvale fresh meatballs. I cooked these for dinner on Sunday with some onions, garlic, tinned tomatoes and some sage and they were delicious! We had them with some salad for an “al fresco” Sunday dinner and there were happy faces all around.

 

This store also had plenty of parking and the queue at the checkout moved very quickly. When I got to the checkout with my full trolley I was really impressed when my total bill came to €87.92, this is definitely significantly cheaper than my usual €130 - €140 weekly shop!
