The ultimate shock: mother gives birth to identical quadruplets instead of triplets

A Mississippi mother who was expecting to give birth to three little girls had the shock of her life when she ended up giving birth to one extra baby.

 

As incredible as it is, the fourth and unexpected child had managed to hide during all the ultra sounds the 42-year-old woman underwent while pregnant.

 

The four girls arrived 13 weeks earlier than expected and despite being premature, the girls named Kenleigh Rosa, Kristen Sue, Kayleigh Pearl and Kelsey Roxanne are doing well in neonatal intensive care.

 

Unshockingly, the woman’s husband wasn’t aware there was a fourth baby until he went to visit his wife at the hospital after the birth.

 

The girls are expected to stay under close medical observation until around the time of their original due date in May. Meantime, the family will be preparing their home for an extra welcome.

 

Giving birth to an extra baby girl is certainly the ultimate gift for this couple and the mother-of-five even said that she considers the quadruple birth “a blessing.”

 

There’s no doubt the couple’s 10-year-old daughter will also be in for a shock when she sees the fourth baby.
