I'm so glad to see these pics of a woman who had a baby just weeks ago, actually looking like she just had a baby. I'm not sure I know why Chantelle is a celeb or pseudo celeb, but kudos to her, she looks beautiful, her baby girl (Dolly) looks beautiful and life is rosey for them. Big smiles all round. I don't know whether it's down to post production photo enhancement or post baby...

Nigella Lawson is such naturally beautiful lady who seems really normal (i.e. she likes her grub and struggles with her weight). She hasn't exactly had an easy life. Yes I know she is fantastically successful cook and author but she's had tough times like the rest of us when she lost her mum and her first husband too and yet she just keeps going on. I read a story online this morning where...

.... she (allegedly) choked him, becuase of remarks he made online about her daughter, one of which included: 'She's so ugly I wouldn't even rape her'. I hate violence, and for an adult to attack a child is never right. However, I kinda understand why she did it. Debbie Piscitella, a 46 year old mum, and her husband Jim had asked the boy to stop making the remarks, but he refused...

These are two women who were asked to pose for a photographer in their army fatigues while breastfeeding their babies during their lunch time at Fairchild Air Force. It was set up by a breastfeeding support group, and in my opinion is yet another image just set up to cause controversery and argument. As far as I can see it does nothing to support the breastfeeding cause, whcih presumably it is...

An 8 year old girl in the US was given an award by her teacher for coming up with the most excuses for not having her homework done, and her mum is furious saying it’s tantamount to bullying. Initially I must admit, I was a bit surprised at the award being handed out to the child, it seems like a cruel approach to prove a point, and it’s not the constructive criticism that I would hope for my...

This is beautiful little baby Exton Elias (and mum Susan) who was born in February, as introduced to the world by proud dad Roberty Downey Jr. He [Downey Jr] admitted that he had to "exercise just a little restraint" with photos of Exton, and followed with “He’s so darn cute". Being born into a celebrity family can't be easy, it's a life us mere mortals will never experience...

Alanis Morissette says she will continue to breastfeed her 16-month-old son Ever Imre, until he decides he's ready to wean. She says “I think it affords the child, when he grows up, to have a lot less therapy to go to. For me, I protect his safety and his well-being and his attachment. That stage of development is a very important stage.” And regardless of whether you think it's...

I saw this picture the other day and two things struck me ....who is that in the photo and why is she drinking while pregnant? On closer inspection, I see it's Sienna Miller (shocking new look, I totally didn't recognise her, but perhaps that's the point) and yes she is pregnant, and yes it looks as if she is drinking. Of course that's just my assumption, based on the fact that...

There were a number of things that were said to me when I was pregnant that drove me crazy. There are others, many, many others but these are the things that can tip an expectant mum over. Read and tread carefully. Hormones Do not ever, on pain of death mention hormones in any context and never ever say: ‘you’re just hormonal’. Whether it true or not, it doesn’t matter, you should be there...

Jessica Simpson's beautiful baby girl Maxwell weighed in at a whopping 9lbs 13oz - now THAT is a big baby. And I thought mine was big at 9lbs.
