My husband has gone running. About a year ago one of my book club friends lent me Run Fat Bitch Run and even though I read it and found it pretty motivating, it could not tempt me to run. Nothing can, running hurts my knees. So, thinking myself very clever, I read it and used the motivation to swim more regularly, gradually building up the number of lengths I did. The phrase school tour has a whole new meaning for me now. It no longer involves buses or pocket money or treaty lunches, now it means simply, touring a school. Yes, it is that time; I have to choose a secondary school for my eldest son. Anyone who knows my husband or I will be aware that decision making is not our strong point. So, for the past year I have been asking anyone who will listen for...

Hi All, I'm due back to work in a couple of weeks after the birth of my second child. The first time around, my parents minded my daughter, however this time, my son has to go to crèche. He will be 7 months starting. I was just wondering what I should pack in his bag for crèche? Silly question probably, but what should I include apart from the obvious like bottles, nappies and clothes.

Sip and See Parties Sip and See parties have taken the USA by storm and are fast becoming a popular way over here for everyone to meet your new baby and celebrate. My 2 year old hates and I mean HATES going to bed, she usually screams the house down. Well not last night thanks to a carton of cows milk I bought in Super Valu the day before. This is no normal milk but one that goes by the name of Lullaby Milk. It contains melatonin which helps the body to fall asleep. It is recommended on the carton to drink 500ml 1 hour before bed. My daughter drank about...
